Craft Your Dream Smile With Digital Smile Design
We all desire a beautiful smile, but if your teeth require extensive work, you might feel it is out of reach. And some people simply want a smile makeover to improve their self-confidence. Luckily, with Digital Smile Design (DSD), we can work together to find the perfect solution for you, no matter what your needs.
With DSD, you can see results before any work is done, and with our specially trained dental team, together with Dr Warren Antonoff, one of the few certified Digital Smile Design Masters in Melbourne, you can be assured that you will get the best treatment plan for your goals.
What is Digital Smile Design?
Digital Smile Design was created by a Brazilian dental technician called Christian Coachman who revolutionised aesthetic dentistry. DSD involves taking a series of photos, X-rays, and a 3D scan of your smile, which is then sent off to our Digital Smile Design team to recreate your perfect smile. Using traditional design principles directed by the patients desired aesthetic, we’re able to recreate a smile that’s tailored to suit you.
If you are looking at investing in a smile upgrade, why not book a complimentary smile assessment and see if a digital smile design is right for you.
Why Choose Digital Smile Design?
If you are planning a smile makeover and don’t know where to start, or you’re afraid that your new teeth will look fake or won’t suit you, then digital smile design is the right solution for you.
Building your perfect smile is like building your house. It is a serious commitment, and you don’t want to take it lightly. You need to make sure you choose the best dentist for your smile makeover, and that comes down to having the right plan in place. Just like an architect would draw up blueprints to design your dream home, a dentist can design your dream smile makeover.
At Lifestyle Smiles, digital smile design will allow us to visualise the end result of your smile makeover and you will be able to see what your final smile will look like before starting your journey with us. So if there is anything you’re not happy about, we can make changes accordingly, before you commence your treatment.
Each client is unique and each smile is tailor made. Please view our before and after gallery so you can see what other clients have achieved with us. This way you can be sure that we are the right dentists for you!

Problems Fixed by Digital Smile Design
A customised treatment plan can help any patient who needs dental repair or restoration, especially if extensive treatment is necessary. It can also greatly benefit those who want their dream smile to come to life. Procedures and treatments are designed with you in mind. Some of the problems that are targeted to improve a smile include:
Missing or Gapped Teeth
Crooked Teeth
Gummy Smiles
Discoloured or Stained Teeth
Broken or Cracked Teeth
Each patient is unique, and design can benefit a wide variety of patient needs. Sometimes a patient may require only one service such as braces, Invisalign, or veneers, and each situation is unique. Luckily, the DSD system can help you see the results before the work begins, so you know exactly what you are getting.
The Digital Smile Design Process
1
Initial Consultation & Taking of Digital Records
Your first appointment involves a consultation with the dentist and for us to collect some information so we can understand your smile goals.
During this visit, our dentist will do a full evaluation and examination of your mouth, teeth and gums. You will have the opportunity to let us know what results you expect.
We will take some x-rays, high-resolution photos and videos of your mouth and smile, as well as a 3D scan of your teeth.
All this information is then used to design your dream smile!
2
Follow Up Consultation
You will be asked to come back within 1-2 weeks for your follow up consultation. This is the exciting part!
During this visit, our dentist will show you what your Smile can potentially look like, and go through your options with you. Depending on your wants and needs, we can then begin treatment to recreate your smile!
Digital Smile Design Technology
With specialised DSD software, the dentist can analyse your facial features and mouth structure to design the best smile for you. Digital smile design technology incorporates a number of tools that allow us to provide you with customised treatment. Some technology includes:
3-D images to help determine spacing and placement of teeth, and movement of the jaw
