COVID-19 Update

With the latest Stage 4 restrictions implemented across Metro Melbourne, please be rest assured that Lifestyle Smiles is still open and are here for you and your family’s dental needs.

We still accept patients for Emergency Dentistry, including pain, swelling and broken teeth, as well as examination for Restorative and General dentistry, whilst we have Online Consultation available for Cosmetic Dentistry.

Lifestyle smiles still strictly enforce the following measures as part of our precautionary protocol continuing:

Patients who are experiencing symptoms such as cough, fever, colds, headache, difficulty breathing, chills and muscle pain will be advised to postpone their appointment.
Z
Mandatory temperature checks and hand sanitisation including but not limited to staff, patients, carers/guardians prior to entry
Z
Antibacterial mouth rinse to all patients pre dental treatment
Z
Only scheduled patients will be accepted. We will not accept walk in patients.
Z
Only patients are allowed in the treatment area unless a minor
Z
One (1) companion per patient will be allowed in the waiting area if absolutely necessary
Z
Patients will be asked to declare health statuses prior to booking appointments

WAYS TO REDUCE RISK OF COVID-19

Z

Wash hands often with soap and running water, for at least 20 seconds. Dry with paper towel or hand dryer.

Z

Try not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth.

Z

Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow.

Z

Isolate yourself at home if you feel sick. If you take medication ensure you have adequate supplies.

Z

Phone your GP first if you need medical attention. They will tell you what to do.

Continue healthy habits: exercise, drink water, get plenty of sleep, and now is the time to quit smoking. Call Quitline 137 848

Don’t wear a face mask if you are well.
Z
Use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser with over 60 per cent alcohol.

Get the flu shot (available April).
