Teeth whitening is a very popular cosmetic treatment. These days, people tend to desire straighter and whiter teeth. Generally speaking, there are two ways of doing teeth whitening. The first way is through a professional dentist, which is the way we recommend, and I’ll explain why shortly. The other way is to purchase products off the internet or through a local chemist, and a lot of times that’s a lot cheaper, and there are reasons why that’s the case.
So what determines how much it costs with whitening your teeth with a professional dentist. Firstly, what is the colour of your current teeth? how yellow are they? and what sort of result do you want to achieve? If you have really yellow teeth, or even worse, like if your teeth are grey, or they’ve been stained by some form of antibiotic like Tetracycline, then they will naturally be alot more challenging to whiten, and will take a lot longer to treat.
So the duration which you need to whitening your teeth for, may affect the price of teeth whitening.
And sometimes… depending on the condition of your teeth and what your expectations are, teeth whitening just isn’t suitable.
