We would like to share with you Shannon’s dental bridge treatment in St Kilda. Shannon works as a receptionist with a major company, dealing with people day in and day out. She is the first person people meet when they come to the office. She has a great bubbly personality. However, what hindered her confidence was her smile.
She had an old composite dental bridge that was getting discoloured, and it was getting more noticeable over time. Her teeth also had fluorosis white spots which made the composite bridge look even more unnatural.
As this was playing on her mind more and more, she decided to do something about it. Her friend, who is a loyal and long term Lifestyle Smiles patient, recommended us to her. Seeing how amazing her friend’s teeth were, she booked an appointment into our clinic.
After the comprehensive examination, together with Shannon, we decided for her smile makeover, we will replace the discoloured composite bridge with a premium porcelain bridge with customised staining to mimic the white spots she has on her other teeth.
What Were the Issues With Her Existing Teeth
- Discoloured Composite Bridge
What We Did for Her Smile Makeover
- Premium Porcelain Bridge
- Customised Staining of the Bridge Crown
After only two visits at the clinic for in two weeks, Shannon had her brand-new porcelain bridge. Shannon was ecstatic with the result. She had to fly interstate to live permanently that weekend, so we did not get a chance to correct the slight greyish shade. However, she was delighted with the result. Under natural lighting, it looks very natural and indistinguishable.
