Justin has a habit of grinding his teeth ever since his Rugby days. He started noticing that his front teeth were wearing out and were getting sensitive to hot and cold food and beverages. His smile didn’t look appealing anymore which made him self-conscious.
He decided to do something about his teeth before they got worst. He wanted a solution that will enhance his appearance aesthetically, and durable at the same time. He other concern was the overall cost to get everything fixed.
He tried searching over the internet for a trusted cosmetic dental clinic in the Bayside area. After reading all the positive reviews on Google, he called in for an appointment with Dr Warren.
With careful and thorough planning and discussion of the pros and cons of all his treatment options, Justin decided to have porcelain crowns to fix his upper teeth.
We also went with composite veneers to build up the lower teeth, which is more practical for him. We opted for crowns with metal backing which is a more durable type of restoration than an all-porcelain crown since he is a heavy grinder.

The Result
After only two visits at the clinic over two weeks, we placed 12 Porcelain-fused-to-Metal Crowns on Justin’s upper teeth and composite veneers for his lower teeth. His teeth now look so much more harmonious in terms of shape, size, and colour.
He is extremely happy with the results and is wearing a nightguard to preserve his restorations from night grinding. He definitely looks even more handsome now!
