Dental Crowns in Melbourne
A porcelain crown is still the best way to protect a tooth that has been severely damaged or broken. Whether you have lost more than 70% of the tooth structure, have had a recent root canal treatment, or have a cracked tooth causing pain when eating, a porcelain crown will ensure the damaged tooth lasts as long as possible.
Did you know that you can walk away with a new porcelain crown within 2 hours from start to finish? Please visit our CEREC page to find out more.
Creating the Best Porcelain Crowns for you
Whilst CEREC can produce the best dental crown for you in such a short space of time, there are still times we do porcelain crowns the traditional way.
- If the colour matching the adjacent tooth is challenging
- If we want to place a temporary crown on the tooth for a short period of time to see if the toothache goes away
- If you’re also having porcelain veneers on other teeth and we are doing everything together.
In the above situations, we will require you to complete the process in 2 visits.
